The folks at the Illinois State Fair have been planning a comeback and they have packed a lot of fun into its 10 days – livestock shows, concerts, midway rides and attractions, harness and auto races and, of course, food, lots of food. To get the party started, the rock music supergroup, Sammy Hagar and The Circle, will wake up that old grandstand stage after its extended slumber. For the last four decades, Sammy Hagar has been one of rock music's most dynamic and prolific artists. From breaking into the industry with the hard rock band Montrose, to his ride as the front man of Van Halen and later The Circle, Hagar has set the tone for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written. Hagar and The Circle have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting live acts on tour today, but all of the acts scheduled for the duration of the fair will certainly live up to their reputations and keep the grandstand pulsating. The lineup through next Wednesday includes Kane Brown, Gabriel Iglesias, Toby Keith, The Traveling Salvation Show, Chris Young and the I Love the 90s Tour. Call the grandstand ticket office for pricing and up-to-date information.
