The loss of Janet Kramp marked 2025.
She lived her entire life in the service of the community of Springfield.
She found her true passion in teaching the young minds of Springfield School District 186 and embraced her role as educator with unending dedication and love for her students.
She was fun and funny and greeted the holiday season with a spirit and magic that was loud and contagious. She was generous in heart, always giving of herself to her family and those around her. She had a way of making the people she touched feel seen and loved.
While we mourn her absence in our lives, we are comforted knowing how loved she was and how valuable her generosity was for our community. She was the goodness that we all seek in life.
