Monthly I drive to a board meeting an hour away, meet for two hours, then drive home – four hours. We zoomed the March meeting, and because of the virus tightened the agenda. After 45 minutes business was done and I was home. Our church attendance is up, now that we’re zooming. When one zoom meeting got boring, I learned how to chat with friends unobtrusively. A zooming teacher I know appreciates the control made possible by her host mute button, and wishes she had one for her regular classroom. At the zoom gym it’s nice to be able to “stop video” when I’d rather others not see my workout form. After the crisis is over, we’ll still be zooming. –Fletcher Farrar, editor and CEO
