These cats from Memphis just keep going along, getting better and better at their peculiar presentation of the music of the blues. 2019 was a banner year with a super-high ranking on Billboard's Album Blues Charts, a BB King International Entertainer of the Year nomination from Canada's Maple Leaf awards and a jam-packed, well-booked touring schedule. 2018 was good too, by garnering Best Blues Band from the Tennessee Music Awards and three Blues Blast magazine nominations, along with many other industry recognitions of the incredible work this outstanding band was doing while playing some blues. Now in 2020 (you know the story), things are starting to pick up once more with good travelling band time happening again and livestreams on a regular basis keeping the fan fire stoked. No matter what, GTBB is a force of nature, bringing a new and profound take on the standard by combining a rocking edge to tried-and-true elements of what makes the blues blue.
