If you notice a couple guys sporting goofy glasses, wacky wigs, Elvis suits complete with sideburns, jumbo jackets, silly shirts, hilarious hats, all picked and paired at a moment’s notice to match songs from the 50s to the present performed with wild abandonment and superb aplomb, never fear, the odds are, it’s simply The Todd Henry and Stan Kupish Show. Working with a combined half a century of show biz time between them, Kupish and Henry bring that finely tuned experience to the stage for your entertainment pleasure. The two joined forces over a year ago and obviously love what they do. Now they’ve parlayed those “little bit lounge-y, little bit rock ’n’ roll” performances into a state senator’s birthday party at the Governor’s Mansion, plus monthly dates at Elmer’s Ole Time Inn in Decatur and other area venues, including transforming Stan’s 20-plus years of playing the piano at Charlie R’s (formerly Gallagher’s) to frequent appearances there. With active audience participation, random musical guests and a never ending set list, Todd and Stan do their thing, and they do it well.
