This year, The Muni is celebrating its 75th anniversary season of Broadway Under the Stars. And for all of you actors out there, now is the time to learn how to be a part of it all. This Saturday, hear from the staffs of all four shows, find out what they are looking for and learn about The Muni’s audition process. This year’s shows are Something Rotten (May 30-June 1, 4-7); The Hunchback of Notre Dame (June 20-22, 25-28) Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! (July 11-13, 16-19) and Shrek: The Musical (Aug. 1-3, 6-9). According to The Muni, “the workshop will feature an introduction to the staffs of each show, tips and tricks for your audition, and vocal and dance breakout sessions. You can also stop by show displays throughout the morning to ask specific questions and learn the best way to rank your casting preferences.” Those attending the event will receive a QR code for early audition registration access. The event is for those age 8 and up.
