Penny was a big sister, a serious student, a smiling teenager who dated regularly.
She was an earnest college student studying math, business education, and library science.
She was a teacher with high expectations of her students.
She was a wife, a working mother of two who doted on both her son and daughter.
She was practical but always ready for an adventure, often creating them.
She was a friend to many, and enjoyed seeing them regularly.
She loved numbers and words and many games involving both.
She loved her family, especially her children, Michael and Kelly. She also loved her extended family of cousins and aunts and uncles, and her classmates.
She mourned the loss of her husband, TJ, and the many activities they shared.
Although she grew in her faith over these years, she especially turned to God and faith after TJ’s death and her MDS diagnosis.
She began decluttering her life materially and began focusing on making the most of precious time with family and friends.
She was a light to so many and her spirit continues to shine brightly for all of us, bringing peace and joy.
