Virtual Kitten Shower

Join APL Online For A Virtual Kitten Shower

Springfield, IL– In the next few months, APL will take in literally hundreds of kittens. They'll be hungry and some may be ill and in need of special care. Some kittens will come with their mothers while others will be orphans. Regardless of their story, all of them will need people to care for them until they can be adopted. In order to care for this many kittens APL needs significant numbers of foster homes as well as resources such as canned cat food (paté style), baby bottles, litter and medicine. In 2020, APL took in over 1,200 kittens and will likely take in at least as many this year as well.
In order to prepare for all of the incoming kittens, APL is hosting a virtual kitten shower. Join APL online on APL’s Facebook page at facebook.com/AnimalProtectiveLeauge from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Learn about our kitten foster program, donate much needed items, play games, and meet our kittens with our Virtual Kitten Cam from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You can help! Drop off gifts all day at the shelter on our front porch. Or check out our Kitten Wish List on Amazon, or our registries at Walmart and Chewy! For a list of activities and links to our wishlists and registries go to www.apl-shelter.org
