This promises to be a one-of-a-kind pop-up event bringing together the best Black fitness instructors, personal trainers and health professionals from around Springfield. You will be able to participate in the pop-up classes, learn about the latest fitness trends, meet with massage therapists and nutritionists and finish it all off with some great food while shopping for discounted class packages and athletic apparel. Kapital Sound will provide live music from 12-3 p.m. along with special guests Pastor Jerry Jones & The Fantastic Jones Family. The event is sponsored by the Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) and Molina Healthcare. The mission of the SBCC is to advocate on behalf of minority businesses and professionals. It is committed to the economic empowerment of African-American communities throughout central Illinois and provides opportunities for business owners and other professionals to network and develop an awareness of their business products and services. The SBCC is also focused on building healthy and prosperous organizations through education, advocacy, public and private partnerships and other resources.
