The Dominican Sisters of Springfield are offering an opportunity to enjoy spring in the country during this year's Spring Fling at their Jubilee Farm. The event will feature children's crafts, a gift shop and music by local singer and storyteller, Tom Irwin. It will also coincide with their annual spring seedling sale where they will be selling vegetable, herb and flower seedlings grown from organic seeds and without chemicals. Jubilee Farm is a 164-acre center for ecology and spirituality. The walking trails, creek and ponds offer tranquil settings where individuals and groups can nurture their spiritual and emotional growth by taking leisurely walks through the countryside or spending time in quiet retreat. The suggested donation for this weekend's event is $5 per person or $20 for a family. Learn more at the website
