Small Business Saturday and Holiday Walks Kickoff

See decorations for all of the winter season holidays including the new 10-foot-tall outdoor, whimsical light display at the Old State Capitol. Many of the unique and charming downtown businesses will be open with extended hours and holiday specials. Shoppers at participating businesses will receive a Red Ticket for every purchase, giving them a chance to win a cash prize. All tickets will be collected by Dec. 14. Winners will be announced on Dec. 15, giving them one more week of Holiday Walks to return downtown to shop with their winnings. The Old Capitol Holiday Walks, where you can dine, drink and shop in beautiful downtown Springfield, will continue every Wednesday and Saturday, through Dec. 23.
