Preston Community Garden - Patrice Rogers

Patrice Rogers founded the Preston Community Garden in 2019 after the death of her father who suffered dietary issues from residing in a food desert in East Saint Louis. She wanted the land she inherited from her father to benefit the residents of the city her family moved to during the Great Migration. During this virtual program, hear about the founding of the Community Garden and the impact it has had on the lives of those in the city.
