This hometown hero gets credit for being an award-winning vocalist, acclaimed performer and passionate composer, and we can assure you she's also a hard-working, well-respected and motivated maker of music. Morgan Minsk left Springfield for Boston in 2011 to use her recently awarded, quite coveted, full scholarship to Berklee College of Music. A recipient of several awards while excelling at Berklee, including the Outstanding Performer Award from the voice department, she graduated magna cum laude in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in music therapy and a minor in psychology. After becoming a board-certified music therapist, Morgan promptly used her education to aid Ugandan child soldiers (Musicians for World Harmony), as well as assisting clients in programs around the Boston area. In May 2018, she released her debut album, Praise, recorded and mixed by three-time Grammy nominee Warren Babson and mastered by nine-time Grammy nominee and two-time Grammy winner Randy Merrill. Now she's back home to play a night in town before taking off for Japan. You'd be amiss to miss her.
