The Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce and the Springfield Park District are hosting a Black-owned business vendor fair and have invited local Black-owned hospitality, special occasion and events businesses to participate. The vendors include restaurants and caterers, fitness instructors, photographers, hair and makeup artists, deejays and bands, event planners and more. Each vendor booth will have brochures and promotional materials about the business, and a representative will be on hand to visit with you and answer your questions. The organizers require masks for entry into the event and will monitor the building capacity to ensure health mandates are followed. More information is available both on the chamber's and Erin's Pavilion Southwind Park's Facebook pages. Be sure to also visit the chamber's website at to see a directory of local Black-owned businesses.
