These rockin’ country fellas from Lubbock, Texas, take their hometown music legacy seriously and present a raucous live show backed by strong songwriting and mighty musicianship. Headed by singer and songwriter Josh Abbott (acoustic guitar, vocals) and other founding member Austin Davis (electric banjo), while ably joined by fellow JAB cohorts Preston Wait (fiddle, electric guitar), Eddie Villanueva (drums), James Hertless (bass), Caleb Keeter (electric guitar, harmonica) and David Fralin (keys/utility player) these guys keep on the move to keep the audience moving. Their latest recording, an EP called Catching Fire, describes the vibe and force of JAB, a group young in age and career, but who has walked the walk of much more veteran bands. They’ve scored country hits, been the major label route, host their own annual music festival and toured the country, with plans now in effect to control their own destiny in making music by taking it to the people and doing what they do best – rocking your town with good times and good tunes.
