Since this brilliantly blessed singer-songwriter-guitarist burst from the Memphis music scene in 2009, he continues to play for keeps, keeping it real and really playing music. John Paul Keith rocks a Fender Telecaster like nobody's business and sings a true song with an R&B sensibility that screams let's make Memphis in the meantime our motto for life. He's recorded several albums, including Memphis Circa 3AM and Heart Shaped Shadow, plus worked with Amy LaVere and Will Sexton in the combo Motel Mirrors. Through the years, JPK has been no stranger to Springfield, performing a few one-off shows, as well as playing at our American Music Show during a Taste of Downtown event. Expect a top-notch performance including some self-deprecating humor to go along with the unreal guitar playing and tight band at work. There's much to enjoy from this energizing and engaging musician who does what you're supposed to do by just playing the songs well to the beat of an amazing rock 'n' roll muse.
