The entertaining and interesting PechaKucha returns to the Hoogland Center for the Arts on Thursday, Oct. 17. The next edition proves to be as much fun as the last. A few of the 10 presenters and presentations include Dave Blanchette, “The 16th President’s Press Secretary;” Wes King, “Building Community One Garden at a Time;” Nabih Elhajj, “The Innovative Minds and Technology;” and Mike Jackson, “The Building Technology Heritage Library.” Each presentation is six minutes and 40 seconds paced by 20 Powerpoint slides. Doors open at 6 p.m. and food and drinks are available for purchase. Those not familiar with the event can visit www.pecha-kucha.org.
