A host of celebrated musicians come together for an in-theater concert broadcasted live from the House of Blues Boston. On the big screen, see and hear world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, legendary bluegrass fiddler Stuart Duncan, acclaimed bassist Edgar Meyer, mandolin wizard Chris Thile with guest vocalist Aoife O’Donovan. The four string virtuosos perform songs off their collaborative album, The Goat Rodeo Sessions. The 11-song recording of original compositions is dubbed “genre proof” by the group. The record title comes from the expression “goat rodeo” that often refers to a situation where a thousand things must go right for something to work. Tickets are available at AMC Showplace 12 or online at fathomevents.com. The one hour and 45-minute event is produced by NCM Fathom and Sony Masterworks.
