Habitat for Humanity Homeownership Program

Dreaming of Owning Your Own Home?
Attend an Information Session to Learn if Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County’s Homeownership Program Is Right for You.

If you or someone you know is interested in applying for Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County’s Homeownership Program, attend an informational session to get the facts, gather information and ask questions. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
Sessions are now scheduled for January 30 at Noon and February 13 at 6PM. Each session covers the same information and all are held at the Habitat office, 2744 S 6th Street, in Springfield. Individuals may attend more than one session, but are only required to attend one. Please contact the Habitat Office at 217-523-2710 to reserve your spot! More information is also available at http://www.habitatsangamon.com
Partner Families in Habitat for Humanity's home ownership program build alongside Habitat volunteers and invest hundreds of “sweat equity” hours. Once a home is completed, the family pays a zero-interest, affordable mortgage, which is invested back into Habitat’s Mission to build more homes with other low income families in need.
Habitat for Humanity is currently recruiting volunteers for this and future Habitat projects in Sangamon County. For more information or to join the efforts to eliminate poverty housing, visit http://www.habitatsangamon.com or call 217.523.2710.
