The Sangamon County Fair returns to New Berlin for five days of fun! There are too many individual events to list here, but we would be remiss if we failed to mention the Grandstand lineup, consisting of Brushville with Captain Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters on Thursday, Cole Swindell with The Cadillac Three on Friday, Joe Nichols with Craig Campbell on Saturday, and Parmalee (pictured above) and Eric Paslay with Granger Smith on Saturday. Other fair highlights include the carnival midway, queen pageant, demolition derby, talent show, chili cook-off, beer tents with live music, a 5K race, magic shows, The Whip Guy, livestock exhibitions, plus fair food and so much more. Adult admission is $20 Thursday through Saturday and $15 on Sunday. Senior citizens (age 60 and over) and children ages 5-10 are $5. A season pass is available for $60 per person. Fair admission includes all carnival rides and concerts. For more information about the Sangamon County Fair, visit
