By becoming a Freedom From Smoking® facilitator you can help make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by tobacco addiction and lung disease. You will learn how to conduct sessions and group activities, what challenges may arise and how to handle potential roadblocks. As a certified facilitator, you will be responsible for conducting the Freedom From Smoking® group clinics for eight to 16 people who have decided to quit smoking. During the clinics, you will introduce quit-smoking tools and techniques to the clinic participants, coordinate activities and facilitate group interaction. You will help maintain participants' commitment to giving up smoking and help tobacco users end their addiction to begin a new, smoke-free phase of their lives.
