Free Frank Freedom Day

When: Mon., Sept. 13, 2-5 p.m. 2021

Free Frank McWorter bought his freedom in 1819 and, in 1836, was the first African American to plat and register a town in the United States. The New Philadelphia Association will honor Free Frank at a program held at the town site.
