Día de los Muertos Family Day

Celebrate Día de los Muertos at the Illinois State Museum! Join the Hispanic Women of Springfield, Diversity Center at the University of Illinois Springfield, and the Museum for our family day celebration on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Learn about the holiday by visiting our new exhibition, Honrando a Nuestros Ancestros: The Bridge Between the Living and the Dead. Then, join us as we play Mexican games, design flower crowns, see traditional Latin American dances, and create crafts including papel picado making and decorating calaveras.
