The fifth annual Springfield Oyster and Beer Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, rain or shine at the Inn at 835. Enjoy craft beer from more than 30 brewers across the Midwest and nationally, as well as oyster dishes, a variety of food trucks and live music. In the first four years the event has donated more than $22,000 to local charities. This year’s recipient is genHkids. A free shuttle will be provided to and from the SOB Festival from Obed and Isaac’s Microbrewery and Eatery, where ample free parking is available. Visit sobfestival.com for more info.
