Citizens Club of Springfield: Early childhood regional needs

A recent assessment of Sangamon and Menard counties found the area has about 14,400 children under the age of 6, with 37% living below the poverty level. Ashley Earles, Birth to Five Regional Council manager, and Monique Nally, a member of the Birth to Five Family Council and a parent educator, will discuss the region’s strengths, gaps and challenges as well as recommendations for improvement.
