This is a past event.
In support of all healthcare workers and first responders in the greater Springfield Area, carilloneur Carlo van Ulft will perform carillon concerts every evening on the Thomas Rees Memorial Carillon in Washington Park from 6:30 PM until 7 PM (the moment when all bells around Springfield will sound for one minute in support of the healthcare workers and first responders ). These concerts will continue at least until April 30, after which the regular summer-season concert schedule will start. We will keep you posted. Everyone is welcome. For those concerned about social distancing, the carillon can be heard from far away and you can even remain in your car and listen. Of course the Park District encourages listeners to adhere to all social distancing rules in place.
