Join Curator of History Erika Holst online as she takes you on a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the "Fashioning Illinois: 1820 - 1900" exhibition, which tells the story of women’s lives through the lens of the clothing that they produced, wore, cared for, and disposed of. Participants will be able to join Holst in the ISM vaults to see how these articles of clothing, many of which have never been exhibited, are stored and cared for. The program will include a preview of the exhibit gallery as Holst shares insights on how the exhibition was created.
This program is free though donations are appreciated. Advanced registration is required and participation is limited.
