When it comes to doing the duo, this twosome of Aasne Daniels and Jerry Setnicky (both on acoustic guitar and vocals) dig into the popular music of the last several decades to do "acoustified" versions of rock and pop songs by artists such as Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, Smashing Pumpkins and Britney Spears. For her part, Aasne, originally from North Dakota, brings a fun energy and powerful voice that is telling of her studies in theater performance and her work in local theater productions as an actor and director. She also performs with Black Queen, Purple Stardust and, along with Jerry, in Florence and the Hendersons. Mr. Setnicky hails from Michigan, and with a lifetime of solo performance beneath his guitar strap, works to "tailor the performance to suit what people want to hear" with tastes from Johnny Cash to Barenaked Ladies, plus a desire to please while stepping from his comfort zone to do so. Together these two have some original songs in the works and a bunch of gigs booked in the area all through the spring and summer.
