This weekend, Kidzeum of Health and Science is celebrating its fourth anniversary with free admission and lots of special activities and crafts all day on Saturday, July 16. Check out the live science experiments being performed by the Kidzeum staff. Also, artists from Garvey Tubman Cultural Arts and Research Center will help you create your own Play-Doh African mask. You will be able to visit with some animals from the Henson Robinson Zoo, munch on goodies from Café Moxo and work on a community art project with donated materials from the Creative Reuse Marketplace. Of course, you will want to pay a visit to Active Alex, the 40-foot climbing space with larger-than-life displays about the human body. He's turning 4 years old, too. If you want to keep the party going, be sure to join in the lawn games at the Old State Capitol. Admission is also free on Sunday, July 17, and the Kidzeum is now open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. kidzeum.org.
