Artisan Stone Products, with is its displays of patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls and other stone creations, is a fun place to visit.
"I wanted Artisan Stone Products to have built-in displays of all of my core products where people could see it, feel it and bring other related products out and see how they look together," said Ted Galassi, the owner of the business at 2475 Peerless Mine Road.
The business has three acres of displays that allow customers to experience the possibilities beyond just looking in brochures or handling floor samples.
"The whole business model came from me being a contractor. We've got everything a contractor would need. But I also specifically try to have products that are more friendly for people that like to do projects themselves," Galassi said.
People are becoming increasingly interested in building outdoor kitchens to host parties, he said. And there are benefits beyond the enjoyment factor.
"Building an outdoor kitchen is a good way to add value to your home and additional entertainment space without having to upgrade the size of your house," he said.
