Spring Guide 2022

A new acquaintance was wondering why we hadn't met before, after having worked within blocks of each other for the past 20 years or so. "I don't get out much," is what I told him, although I do, but it's to the same routine things, not much new. And for the past two years, nobody has gotten out much. Now it's spring, and here's my Illinois Times Spring Guide, so I plan to mark it up and go. To the quilt show at the fairgrounds this weekend (see p. 25). To the winter farmers market downtown Saturday. Fiddler on the Roof at UIS-PAC March 24. Jubilee Farm (p. 21). A Jr. Blues game. Boxing at the BoS. As we were all reminded when we changed our clocks, it's time to spring forward.– Fletcher Farrar, editor
