LAURA T. SAMPSON Oct. 31,1965 – Oct. 24, 2022

One of Laura’s favorite places to be was in the kitchen. Many times she told me that cooking was her therapy. She loved food and to cook. She was always searching for new recipes, which she’d usually tweak. She’d come up with a new dish to try on her own. I was more than happy to join her for many lunches and dinners at the Sampson household. Taco night was one of Laura’s favorite meals. Besides her family, Laura loved her dogs. Gunther, a 3-year-old pittie mix and Maddie, a 5-pound Yorkie, were always by her side. Her mornings were always started with a big cup of coffee and good morning kisses from Gunther, and both dogs’ antics brought joy and smiles to Laura. Our lives were turned upside down when we lost her. Laura was always taking pictures of us – her loving husband, James Sampson, her adoring son, Justin Misialek and me. Since she was the one taking the pictures, very few of them had her in them with us. So, take the selfie with those you love, even if they grumble a bit. Document your memories with those you love.
