Boating Classes

Tuesdays,  March 5 – 26, 2013,  (four sessions),  6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at Scheels Sporting Goods, Springfield, Ill.    Cost $45 -includes class and materials.  Families welcome to attend and share a book.  Upon successful completion of the class, you will receive your Illinois Boating Safety Card and United States Power Squadrons Safety Card.  Most insurance companies will offer discounts to boaters who complete the course.  Land of Lincoln Power Squadron is part of the United States Power Squadron, a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to making boating safer and more enjoyable by teaching  various boating classes.  Contact:  Jerry Naughton 217-836-1723, genaughton@yahoo.com or Scott Harmon 217-891-2870, escottharmon@gmail.com.
