Access Magazine #4

This new program will be cablecast Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening at 11 p.m. on Comcast cable channel 4. Made possible in part by PrairieAsunder.com Access Magazine is a new show produced by the Access 4 Producers Group. It features interviews and performances from the community and runs on the Channel at 11 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and in the mornings at 7 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Show No. 4 features Part 1 in a two part series covering the recent Music for Manning in Douglas Park on Oct. 20, 2012. The event raised $432 on site, which was then doubled by the Brightwater Fund. Speakers include Dr. Gwen Jordan of the Illinois Innocence Project, Kathy Kelly of Voices for Creative Non-violence, Chris Blankenhorn of UIS Radical Student Union. Musicians include Josie Lowder, Adam Stevens, Ryan Nance, Restless Soul and Jim Smiley and Tha MC.
