The Springfield-Decatur Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. proudly presents their 31st Annual LaPetite Delta: Dr. Betty Shabazz Academy Finale. In addition, our sorority is observing our Centennial Celebration of service.
LaPetite Delta is a youth program designed for 8th grade African-American girls in the Springfield-Decatur area, which promotes; confidence, self-esteem and pride. The program began this year in October and will conclude with a finale on April 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart Griffin Auditorium. We would love to have you join us. This year more than 20 girls will join the more than 700 young women who graduated from this annual program. The theme this year is Footprints in the Sand . $5 per person, children under 5 years of age are free.
