The Hoogland Center for the Arts will present an encore presentation of Love, Loss and What I Wore on April 19, 20 and 21 in the Club Room at the Hoogland Center.
Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron’s intimate collection of vignettes and monologues is based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollections of the Ephrons’ friends. Like the book, this funny and poignant theatrical event uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell stories that all women can relate to. Syndicated columnist Liz Smith simply raves, “This is an evening that goes directly to the heart, soul and vanity of every woman, young or old."
The production is directed by Aasne Vigesaa and features Nancy Cole, Claire Gordon, Susan Jeffers, Julie Staley and Missy Thibodeaux-Thompson.
Friday, April 19 at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 20 at 8 p.m., Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m.
Tickets will be $18 for adults and $17 for seniors. The show is sponsored by Illinois Times.
