On Monday, Dec. 10 there will be an International Human Rights Day Candlelight Vigil from 5 to 5:45 p.m. at the Lincoln Statue on the State Capitol Steps, Second and Monroe.
The Vigil recognizes the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in which "the United Nations has stated in clear and simple terms the rights which belong equally to every person."
All are welcome and encouraged to participate in the reading of the Declaration. For more information, contact Mel Lamar at 220-6206.
