Holiday Potluck Monday

Rochester Historical Society's Holiday Potluck Monday.  The annual holiday potluck/auction sponsored by the Rochester Historical Preservation Society will be held at 6 p.m. Monday (Dec. 3) at the Rochester United Methodist Church. A short presentation will precede the meal. The serving line will open at 6:30. Ham, fried chicken, beverage and table service will be provided. Everyone attending is asked to provide a covered dish and an item—anything nice, any size— for a silent auction..    The auction will follow the dinner. Proceeds will be used for continuing development and preservation of the Old Stone House historical site on West Main Street. RHPS note cards and the 2011 Cemetery Walk books will be for sale.   The public is invited to attend.
