Pharmacy Exhibit

The Pharmacy presents The Melancholy Masquerade, an exhibition from local favorite and Pharmacy artist Felicia Olin. The exhibit will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 6-9 p.m. at The Pharmacy Warehouse Gallery, located at 1022 South Pasfield Street, Springfield, Ill.

Celebrated local artist Felicia Olin will be exhibiting her paintings in The Melancholy Masquerade. Felicia is well known for her whimsical-yet-pensive figurative works of women. “My work focuses to capture the spirit of timeless beauty, striving for an ethereal quality. I have a love for painting figures that are often very silent and still, introspective, and emotional,” says Felicia. Her figures are at once mysterious yet familiar, and above all, lovely.

Felicia Olin has been exhibiting since 2005. Since then, she has produced over 500 pieces and has exhibited her works widely in Springfield and throughout Illinois. She received an Associate’s Degree from Benedictine University and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Illinois State University. Olin has previously been awarded with the Rosie Richmond Artist Advancement Award and has received multiple accolades exhibiting with the Illinois State Fair Professional Art Competition. In 2011, she was named as one of Springfield’s 40 Under 40 by the Springfield Business Journal. She is an artist in The Pharmacy collective.
