Besides percussion based music Dennis has played  with several of the Midwest Top Musicians including playing regularly with Bill Laymon (New Riders of the Purple Sage, David Nelson Band, Kingfish) and as a special guest sitting in with a wide variety of bands and musicians inlcuding Tom Irwin, Black Magic Johnson, the Dharma Bums, Perfunctory This Band, the Bourbon Bluegrass Band, the Luke Turasky Project, and Celtic Rock group Emerald Underground..... He has also played and/or recorded with a variety of musicians from several popular Midwest groups including NIL8, Enamel, the Suitcase Nukes, and the Sarah Schneider Band,  among others....

New cd available:   "Rhythmspirit" is a collection of percussion and rhythm tracks featuring a variety of hand drums and drumming styles including those from traditional sources along with original pieces intermixed with several "jams". The cd features special guests Gordy Ryan (Olatunji's Drums of Passion), Frame Drum master Judy Piazza, "Conga Joy" author Bill Matthews, and Tor Dietrichson from Mickey Hart's Diga Rhythm Band
