Greg was always a hard-working man, working many jobs. Before retiring due to his health he was an Illinois Supreme Court security officer. Greg had a great number of family and friends that he loved so much. There was never a time that he wasn’t joking with someone in the community. He had a great sense of humor and went the extra mile to make your day. Greg was always wearing a smile, no matter where he was, who was around him, or what was going on in his life. He loved to spend time with his children as much as he could. When the Graham family moved to Pleasant Plains it didn’t take long for all the community kids to warm up to the family and accept Greg as if he were their own dad. Greg began working at the Casey’s General Store in Pleasant Plains shortly after moving to the town.
He was loved by all in the community and always made sure that he could help anyone in any way possible. He was a fun-loving father who strived to make sure that his kids were successful in anything they were involved in. If there is one thing the town can agree on, it is that you could always run into Greg up at Casey’s. You would always find him standing at the scratch-off lottery ticket machine smiling. Greg is loved and missed by many.
