Ring in the season with the 19-member handbell ensemble, Bells in Motion. Hear traditional holiday favorites and more during their “Ring Noel” concert Dec. 3 at the First Congregational Church. The professional team combines seven octaves of bronze and aluminum handbells and chimes, string bass, drums and other instruments to provide innovative music in many genres. Based in Springfield and led by music director Michael Lamb, the group has toured the United States, Canada and Europe. A second “Ring Noel” concert is slated for Sunday, Dec. 4, at 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Pana. RW Troxell Insurance Agency sponsors both concerts.
