Visiting the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum July 11 is world-renowned author Amanda Foreman. Award-winning historian and New York Times best-selling author of Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire and World on Fire: An Epic History of Two Nations Divided, Foreman signs copies of her book World on Fire about the American Civil War at 6:30 p.m. in the museum plaza. Copies can be purchased in the gift store. At 7 p.m. she will give a free talk about her book World on Fire in Union Theater. Following the lecture, a light dinner is planned with the author. Dinner tickets must be purchased by July 10. Reservations are required for the free signing and lecture and for dinner.
