Matthew T. Dearing (Mitch Albom) and Barry Weiss (Morrie Schwartz) play the leads in the moving drama Tuesdays with Morrie. Tuesdays with Morrie centers on Mitch, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch catches Morrie’s appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor battles Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Mitch reunites with Morrie, and what starts as a simple visit, turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life. Directed by Rich McCoy and produced by Gus Gordon, the production is sponsored by News Radio 1240 WTAX and Regency Nursing Care Residence.
