With all of the talk about job creation, the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Lincoln Land Community College will give budding entrepreneurs a chance to put actions to their dreams. The ISBDC will offer three free workshops on “Starting Your Business in Illinois” during the month of February. Participants must register ahead of time for the workshops. Class size is limited to room size and number of workshop handouts.
The workshops will prepare entrepreneurs how to prepare a business plan, finance a business, how to choose between legal forms, tax management and more.
The first workshop will be Thursday, Feb. 3, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at LLCC in east Springfield on 1507 E. Cook St. Call the ISBDC office more information or to register, at 217-544-7232.
