By Anita Stienstra

Another great lineup and evening is on tap, along with beer, at Capital City Bar and Grill, Feb. 7, for PechaKucha Night. Illinois Times editor and publisher Fletcher Farrar will talk about his award-winning preservationist work, Laura Kay Coffey talks photography, Jan Perone of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum provides funny historic newspaper articles/headlines, Bossa Azul band member Julie Hulvey talks all things Brazilian and Keith Miller of UIS discusses artificial intelligence. Others are Sarah Mackey, Troy Freeman, Pat Wright, Amanda Brott and Johnny Molson. Each presentation is six minutes and 40 seconds paced by 20 Powerpoint slides. Those not familiar with the event can visit www.pecha-kucha.org. Reserve tickets by email at pechakuchaspringfield@gmail.com. Limited tickets will be available at the door.
