But not the kind of fan Sparc needs right now.
Like the rest of us, Sparc is facing big electricity bills this summer, but Sparc, which has 13 group homes, has a dozen more bills than most of us. And so the charity wants to install some ceiling fans.
Sparc would like to hear from anyone with spare ceiling fans that are going unused. They also take cash. Sparc being a nonprofit organization recognized as such by the Internal Revenue Service, all contributions are tax deductible, which might come in handy when tax returns are due next year and you need a little extra to help with the heating bill.
